Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking an Interior Technician to work on sophisticated private aircraft interiors in Cahokia Heights, IL. The role involves installing and removing carpeting, insulation, sound proofing and fabric components, along with parts replacement and basic electrical work.

Responsibilities include modifications and refurbishments under the Interior Team Leader, maintaining safety standards and FAA compliance, and contributing to a high‑quality maintenance environment in a hangar

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Physically able to lift at least 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Good manual dexterity and ability to read and follow specifications.

Responsibilities

• Remove and install carpeting, insulation, sound proofing and fabric accessories on aircraft interiors.
• Perform parts replacement/repair and basic electrical system installation.
• Make modifications, refurbishments and other general mechanical applications on aircraft interiors.
• Work under supervision of Interior Team Leader and adhere to FAA guidelines.
