Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace seeks an Interior Lead Technician for the second shift to oversee aircraft interior removal, installation, refurbishment, and return-to-service activities. You will provide technical leadership, mentor technicians, and ensure work is completed safely and on time.

The role requires extensive knowledge of interior systems, directing daily workflow, coordinating resources, and driving schedule execution across mid‑cabin, large‑cabin legacy, and military platforms.

Qualifications

• 5 years Aircraft Interior experience required (or equivalent for the applicable position).
• FAA A&P license or be able to obtain a repairman certificate within 30 days of start date.
• A&P license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop work schedules, estimates and status reports; aid in establishing priorities and assign work.
• Coordinate work with other departments to ensure fabrication and completion of tasks.
• Ensure workmanship quality; provide recommendations for quality and process improvements.
• Report status of assignments; maintain department records and reports.
• Instruct and coach subordinates in procedures, blueprints and specs; develop interpersonal skills.
