Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation seeks an experienced technician to support the Structures team on first shift for interior modification of aircraft. You will coordinate schedules, supervise tasks, and ensure safety and quality in a fast-paced environment at our Wisconsin facility.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, 5 years of aircraft interior experience (or equivalent), and an FAA A&P license or the ability to obtain a repairman certificate within 30 days.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5 years Aircraft Interior experience required or equivalent (e.g., Sheetmetal, Cabinetry, Finish, or Upholstery).
• FAA A&P license or be able to obtain a repairman certificate within 30 days of start date.
• A&P license preferred.

Aufgaben

• Develop work schedules, estimates and status reports; aid in establishing priorities and assign work to subordinates to meet or exceed schedules.
• Coordinate work with other departments and with engineering/contract admins to ensure proper fabrication and completion of tasks.
• Ensure workmanship quality; provide recommendations for quality and process improvement and reduction of cycle time.
• Report to management on status of assignments; maintain department records and reports.
• Instruct, coach and train subordinates on procedures, blueprints, and engineering specs; develop employees’ interpersonal skills.
• Follow up and expedite corrective actions in shop operations affecting schedules and rework.
• Implement and monitor a continuous safety program; enforce FOD regulations; maintain clean work areas.
