Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Appleton, Wisconsin seeks an Interior Lead Technician on the second shift to oversee interior removal, installation, modification and refurbishment tasks. This hands-on leader mentors technicians, directs daily workflow, ensures safety and quality, and delivers on-time aircraft return-to-service.

The role requires 5+ years in aircraft interior work and an FAA A&P or repairman certificate, with strong knowledge of interior configurations and regulatory

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5 years Aircraft Interior experience required or equivalent (Sheetmetal, Cabinetry, Finish, Upholstery).
• FAA A&P license or ability to obtain a repairman certificate within 30 days. A&P license preferred.
• Repairman certificate preferred.

Mansioni

• Develop work schedules, estimates, and status reports to meet commitments.
• Coordinate work with engineering and contract administrators for fabrication and completion.
• Ensure high-quality workmanship and drive continuous improvement and cycle time reduction.
• Instruct and coach subordinates on work procedures and blueprints; train in methods and interpersonal skills.
• Follow up and expedite corrective actions in shop operations to avoid delays.
• Implement and monitor a continuous safety program and enforce FOD regulations.
