Job summary

Menzies Aviation in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a fueling agent to safely fuel aircraft, operate fuel trucks, and maintain accurate fueling records. The role involves manual handling, daily quality checks, and adherence to safety policies.

You will perform fueling with care, ensure correct loading and balancing, and comply with health, safety and security procedures while working outdoors in all weather and shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess a valid US driver’s license.
• Pass pre-employment color vision test.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English.
• Handle fueling carts and hoses, ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Work is outdoors; comfortable in all weather conditions.
• Must pass background check and obtain US Customs seal.
• Flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Prior experience preferred, including CDL or Oil & Gas industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform fueling in a safe and efficient manner and operate fuel trucks, hydrant cards, and carts.
• Maintain accurate accounting of fuel transactions.
• Perform daily quality control checks on equipment and keep it clean and functional.
• Ensure correct loading and balancing of fuel.
• Defuel aircraft as directed.

Role Purpose

You will need to perform simple mathematical functions such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing with regards to weight, measurement and volume to interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions as they pertain to fueling.

This role requires you to maintain a safe and secure work environment, in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies and procedures.

What you will be doing:

• Perform fueling in a safe and efficient manner, drive and operate fuel trucks, hydrant cards, and stationary carts to fuel aircraft.
• Responsible for accurate accounting of fuel transactions
• Perform daily Quality Control checks on equipment, maintain equipment in clean and functional condition.
• Ensure the correct loading and balancing of fuel.
• Responsible for defueling aircraft as directed.

• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Work is done primarily outdoors; must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
• Must pass background check and obtain US Customs seal.
• Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Prior experience preferred including possession of a Commercial Driver’s License or experience
• in the Oil and Gas Industry (preferred)
