Job summary

Menzies Aviation in Tulsa, OK is seeking an Aircraft Fueler to fuel, defuel and service aircraft on the airport ramp. You will read weight and balance data, perform basic math, and ensure precise fueling procedures in all weather conditions.

The role requires physical work (lifting up to 70 lbs), outdoor duties, and flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays; prior CDL or oil & gas experience is a plus. Diversity and safety are emphasized in our hiring practices.

Job description

The aircraft Fueler responsibility is to the safe and efficient fueling/defueling and servicing of aircrafts at the airport. You will need to perform simple mathematical functions such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing with regards to weight, measurement and volume to interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions as they pertain to fueling.

This role requires you to maintain a safe and secure work environment, in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies and procedures.

What you will be doing

• Perform fueling in a safe and efficient manner, drive and operate fuel trucks, hydrant cards, and stationary carts to fuel aircraft.
• Responsible for accurate accounting of fuel transactions
• Perform daily Quality Control checks on equipment, maintain equipment in clean and functional condition.
• Ensure the correct loading and balancing of fuel.
• Responsible for defueling aircraft as directed.

• Work is done primarily outdoors; must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
• Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Prior experience preferred including possession of a Commercial Driver’s License or experience in the Oil and Gas Industry (preferred)
