Job summary

Menzies Aviation in Tulsa, OK is seeking an Aircraft Fueler to safely fuel/defuel and service aircraft on the ramp. You will perform basic math for weight and balance instructions and ensure accurate fuel transactions and loading accuracy.

The role requires outdoor work in all weather, lifting up to 70 lbs, weekend/holiday shifts, and may prefer a CDL or Oil & Gas experience. Equal opportunity employer.

• Preferred CDL or Oil & Gas industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Fuel aircraft safely and efficiently; drive and operate fuel trucks, hydrant cards, and carts.
• Maintain accurate accounting of fuel transactions.
• Perform daily quality control checks on equipment and maintain it in good condition.
• Ensure correct loading and balancing of fuel for aircraft.
• Defuel aircraft as directed.

Job description

The aircraft Fueler responsibility is to the safe and efficient fueling/defueling and servicing of aircrafts at the airport. You will need to perform simple mathematical functions such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing with regards to weight, measurement and volume to interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions as they pertain to fueling.

This role requires you to maintain a safe and secure work environment, in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies and procedures.

What you will be doing

• Perform fueling in a safe and efficient manner, drive and operate fuel trucks, hydrant cards, and stationary carts to fuel aircraft.
• Responsible for accurate accounting of fuel transactions
• Perform daily Quality Control checks on equipment, maintain equipment in clean and functional condition.
• Ensure the correct loading and balancing of fuel.
• Responsible for defueling aircraft as directed.

What we are looking for

• Handle fueling carts and fueling hoses which will require you to lift and move up to 70lbs.
• Work is done primarily outdoors; must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
• Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Prior experience preferred including possession of a Commercial Driver’s License or experience in the Oil and Gas Industry (preferred)
