Job summary

1st Source Bank seeks a Lender II in the South Central US Territory to solicit, develop, and fund loans for Specialty Finance clients. The role focuses on growing client relationships and managing end-to-end loan processes.

The position requires 5–8 years of related experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments. Travel to off-site locations is expected.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in related field preferred.
• Experience in commercial equipment finance preferred.
• Proven record of new business generation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
• Ability to travel frequently to off-site locations.

Responsibilities

• Solicit, develop and fund loans for Specialty Finance clients.
• Manage ongoing sales relationships, funding, and boarding of loans.
• Drive portfolio growth, depository targets, and credit quality.
• Collaborate with Deposit, Credit, Loan Ops, and Accounting teams.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities to deepen client relationships.
• Maintain Pipeline Report and use InSight (Salesforce) for leads and opportunities.
• Supervise assigned staff where applicable.
