Job summary

Magee Technologies (MTech) in Wichita, KS, seeks an experienced Aircraft Field Modification Lead to steer complex modification projects from planning to deployment. You will synchronize engineering data, installation sequencing, material readiness, and schedules across engineering, depot, and customer teams.

You will translate designs into executable plans, resolve discrepancies, and ensure as-built configurations are captured.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Systems Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in DoW aircraft modification, sustainment, or integration programs is preferred.
• Familiarity with technical data interpretation (drawings, wiring diagrams, installation instructions).
• U.S. Citizenship required; Active Security clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary interface for assigned aircraft modification projects with engineering, program management, depot/MRO teams, OEM partners and customers.
• Coordinate modification planning, kit deliveries, technical data packages and installation sequencing.
• Track redlines, TDs, SBs, and retrofit directives.
• Provide on-site engineering oversight during induction, modification execution, and return-to-service activities.
• Travel to modification sites as required to support installation and fielding.
