Job summary

Metrea seeks a Head of Engineering Design to lead the engineering organization responsible for aircraft modifications across a mixed portfolio. This role provides technical and organizational leadership for multidisciplinary teams delivering complex aircraft modification programs from concept through installation.

The Head will ensure design quality, regulatory compliance, and alignment with customer objectives while guiding resource planning and delivery in a fast-moving, high-responsibility

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible aerospace engineering experience.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams on complex aircraft modification programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary aircraft modification engineering teams across structural, mechanical, electrical, avionics, systems, and related disciplines.
• Provide executive-level oversight of modification programs from concept through design, certification, installation, testing, and delivery.
• Ensure compliance with airworthiness standards and regulatory requirements; manage risks and schedules.
