Job summary

Duncan Aviation in Provo, Utah seeks an Engine Line Technician to assist with inspecting, troubleshooting, adjusting, repairing and other tasks related to aircraft engines, systems and components. Work is performed in a safe, clean environment using proper tooling and in accordance with manufacturer specifications and Duncan Aviation procedures.

The role includes completing documentation and training logs, with the potential to become a Qualified Inspector (QI).

Qualifications

• Powerplant certificate required; A&P preferred.
• Mobile and Overhead Crane Certification and Fork Lift qualification may be required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain QI designation as needed.
• Tool inventory per department tool list required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in high quality inspections, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of aircraft engines, systems and components; order required parts as needed.
• Prepare documents per FAA regulations and company policy; complete discrepancies, corrective actions, SBs and ADs.
• Locate and use technical data; follow instructions; mentor less experienced technicians.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Education

Powerplant Certificate required

A&P Preferred

Mobile and Overhead Crane Certification

Fork Lift qualified

Valid driver’s license
