Job summary

Duncan Aviation is seeking an Engine Line Technician to assist with inspecting, troubleshooting, adjusting, and repairing aircraft engines and related components. Roles span Technician I–III with limited supervision and potential to act as a Qualified Inspector (QI) as needed.

Strong emphasis on safety, documentation, and adherence to Duncan procedures. Candidates should have a High School diploma or equivalent and relevant airframe/engine maintenance experience; powerplant certification is

Qualifications

Powerplant Certificate required; Airframe Certificate preferred; Mobile and Overhead Crane Certification; Fork Lift qualified; Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Able to obtain QI designation as company needs.
Overtime/long-hours as needed; travel and relocation may be required.
High school graduate or equivalent with maintenance experience for multiple Technician levels.

Responsibilities

Assist in inspections, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining aircraft engines, systems and components with proper tooling.
Prepare and complete documentation and maintenance logs per policy and FAA regulations.
Locate and use technical data, follow instructions, and mentor less experienced technicians.
Perform as assigned and participate in other duties as needed by management.
