Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Inspect engines and/or APUs, components and associated systems.
  • Assist with installation, removal or modifications and repairs.
  • Operate ground support equipment and maintain tools.
  • Comply with environmental, health and safety policies.

What are your contributions to the team?
  • Adhere to general work requirements
  • Inspect engines and/or APUs, components and associated aircraft systems and components in accordance with appropriate maintenance manuals with minimal supervision
  • Assist with installation, removal or modifications and repairs of turbine engines, APUs and airframe systems or components
  • Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required
  • Assist with engine/APUs and related systems operational checks and functional tests
  • Assist with performing complete engine runs
  • Assist with off‑aircraft component repair
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English in both written and verbal form
  • Operate ground support equipment
  • Own and maintain hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory and control of tools
  • Ability to operate industrial vehicles and equipment (scissor/boom lift, forklift, etc.)
  • Comply with environmental, health and safety policies and procedures. Participate in 5‑S activities. Perform work in a safe and timely manner
  • Basic PC skills
