Job summary

Rolls-Royce in Meridian, MS is seeking an Aircraft Engine Mechanic to service and repair aircraft engines and engine modules using hand tools, power tools and testing equipment. The role requires an A&P license or equivalent experience, a High School diploma, and the ability to obtain security clearance (US citizenship).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 2+ years in aviation.
• A&P License required or preferred.
• Eligible for security clearance; USA Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair and inspect installed aircraft engines.
• Disassemble, inspect and reassemble engines at modular level.
• Read manuals and bulletins to determine repair methods.
• Test engine operation and diagnose faults.
• Inspect fuel, oil, air systems per manuals.
• Perform engine wiring and accessory repairs.
• Support Ground Support Equipment for preventive maintenance.
• Lift up to 50 pounds unaided.
