Job description

Description:

Install preassembled wiring harnesses in conformance with predetermined routing, fasten in place with clips, brackets and other holding devices. Hook-up wiring to equipment, panels, relays, and accessories. Makes continuity checks on primary installations.

Basic Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of two years aircraft electrical assembly experience.
  2. Ability to read electrical blueprints.
  3. Routing wire on an electrical wiring board – pin and plug process.
  4. Stripping wire.
  5. Crimping wire.
  6. Terminating wire.
  7. Soldering wire.
  8. Wiring harness buildup.
  9. Installing wiring harnesses in aircraft.

A candidate must take and pass a performance demonstration test to be eligible for this position (RM3963).

Desired Skills:

  1. Electrical assemblies, wire harnesses, wire bundles, circuit breakers.
  2. Routes, wires, assembles, and install electrical and electronic components.
  3. Electronics/Avionics Technician.
  4. Splicing, insulation, tying and installing of plugs and connecting devices.
  5. Integrated Avionics / avionics systems.
  6. Aircraft Electronic devices.
  7. Avionics/electronics installations.
  8. Electrical and Environmental Systems.

  10. Electro-mechanical instruments.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
