Sunday there is a $17/hr shift differential

Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday there is a $2/hr shift differential

Shift: Sunday - Wednesday 6pm-5am (Wednesday option of a half day or full day)

Location: Douglassville, PA

Position:

Techo Bloc is seeking their next industrial maintenance technician (electro-mechanic). Our technicians are highly proficient in electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and welding.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Here is a snapshot of your day-to-day:

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and/or replace mechanical components such as motors, gearboxes, drive chains, sprockets, sheaves, pulleys, rollers, conveyor belts, bearings, and screws.
• Repair/troubleshoot hydraulic cylinders, valves, solenoids, and pumps.
• Identify and make hydraulic hoses as needed.
• Perform advanced welding and fabrication, including welding in various positions and joints.
• Operate shop tools such as band saws, torches, drill presses, grinders, etc.
• Install new equipment, align machines using hoists, jacks, and hand tools.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics and multimeters/megger.
• Size components and cabling for electrical systems.
• Read wiring diagrams to trace circuits and understand electrical components.
• Set up and troubleshoot VFD drives (SEW, Siemens, Lenze, Allen Bradley).
• Handle interference fits and bearing heaters.
• Start or jog equipment for maintenance.
• Test machinery, identify parts needed, and complete repairs.
• Repair, install, and dismantle machinery, working at heights and with mobile equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and document activities.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities:

• 2+ years’ experience in Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance, or relevant field.
• Proficiency with power tools, measuring devices, lathe, and milling machinery.
• Experience with bearing heaters, interference fits, gearboxes, and seized bearings/shafts.
• Experience with stick and MIG welding.
• Ability to fabricate and repair welds.
• Proficient electrical skills, including troubleshooting electrical components and reading schematics.
• Experience with 480vAC, 120vAC, 24vDC, and 4-20mA systems.
• Use of multimeter, megger, and test equipment.
• Maintain, troubleshoot VFDs, sensors, SCADA, HMI, and PLCs.
• Test electrical systems and circuits.
• Work collaboratively and in partnership.

Education and Experience:

Electrical certificates or equivalent experience preferred.

Additional Information

Physical Requirements:

Must frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 80 pounds. Ability to inspect and monitor machinery, work at heights, and in tight spaces. Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.
