Job summary

Lockheed Martin Corporation in Palmdale, CA is seeking an experienced Flight Electrical and Instrument Mechanic to perform final checkout, troubleshooting, and maintenance of aircraft electrical and instrument systems on the flight line and in the lab.

You will install and adjust components, work with engineering on tests, and accompany production or acceptance flights as required. Must have at least four years of relevant experience and be able to work all shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of four years’ experience in aircraft electrical and electronic installation and electrical checkout or as a Flight Electrical and Instrument Mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Perform final flight line servicing, checkout, troubleshooting, repairing and maintenance of aircraft electrical and instrument systems.
• Install shortages; modify ship’s electrical and instrument systems and related accessories; calibrate and adjust equipment.
• Prepare and/or maintain aircraft for flight, test procedures, fault isolation and checkout of instrumentation equipment.
