Job summary

Berry Aviation, Inc. is seeking a Dispatch Shift Supervisor to lead Aircraft Dispatchers on a 24/7 basis. You will supervise, coordinate workloads, and ensure safe flight operations under Part 135 On-Demand or Part 121 operations, with authority to issue flight releases and manage escalations.

The role requires an FAA Dispatcher certificate and at least 3 years of dispatcher experience, plus strong leadership and communication skills to support flight operations and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate issued by the Department of Transportation.
• Minimum 3 years of aircraft Dispatch/Flight Following experience under 14 CFR Part 121 and/or Part 135.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to coordinate others in a 24/7 operation.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen, background check, and TSA assessment.
• Strong communication with flight crews and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day supervision and direction to dispatchers on the shift.
• Plan flights with emphasis on safety, regulatory compliance, and schedule continuity.
• Monitor weather, NOTAMs, fuel, and regulatory requirements to anticipate changes.
• Issue flight releases and authorize delays or diversions as needed for safety.
• Escalate safety, compliance, and staffing concerns through the chain of command.
