Job summary

Dow North America DIS TS&D group in Midland, MI seeks a TS&D Leader for Aircraft Deicing Fluids to oversee lab operations, develop formulation and drive innovation. You will manage a team of technicians and contractors and align resources to value-generating R&D projects in support of Dow’s business strategy.

You will collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance and Product Stewardship, travel to customers and industry events as needed, and actively participate in the

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, engineering or science-related discipline or 12 years of relevant work experience.
• Master’s degree or PhD preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead laboratory operations teams for Aircraft Deicing Fluids, HTTF and LTTF ensuring safety and timely analysis.
• Drive formulation development, product qualification and customer-driven innovation.
• Partner with commercial, manufacturing, supply chain, QA and RD to deliver solutions.
• Develop training, manage resources, and oversee performance and growth of the lab staff.
• Represent technical SMEs in cross-functional projects and industry groups.
