Job summary

Pacific Staffing, LLC in Aurora, Oregon is seeking a Back Aircraft & Component Technician for a temp-to-hire role. You will perform teardown, overhaul, repair, assembly, inspection, painting, wiring and testing of aircraft systems in accordance with FAA requirements and OEM data.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of aerospace mechanics experience, reads technical data, and can use precision measuring tools. A&P license is preferred; schedules include day and swing shifts with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of mechanical aerospace experience or related field.
• Ability to read OEM manuals, drawings and schematics.
• Experience with precision measuring tools and mechanical hand tools.
• A&P license preferred; Boeing/CH47 experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret maintenance manuals and drawings.
• Perform teardown, inspection, repair, and overhaul of aircraft components.
• Use precision tools to evaluate wear and serviceability.
• Replace or assemble parts per procedures and test functionality.
• Document all work in maintenance records and ensure FAA compliance.
