Job summary

AVMATS in O'Fallon, MO seeks an A&P certificated component technician to inspect, test, repair and overhaul jet airframe components. You will research, perform and document assigned work on hydraulic, pneumatic, landing gear and electromechanical actuators.

The role requires physical capability, adherence to FAR Part 145 environment, and a commitment to quality in a Monday–Friday schedule with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• General troubleshooting skills involving isolation and deductive reasoning.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, climb, balance, kneel and crawl.
• Airframe And Powerplant Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, repair, and overhaul airframe accessory components.
