Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3+ years of mechanical aerospace experience or related field.
  • Ability to read OEM manuals, drawings and schematics.
  • Experience with precision measuring tools and mechanical hand tools.
  • A&P license preferred; Boeing/CH47 experience preferred.

Full Job Description

Our client is rapidly expanding and will be adding Aircraft & Component Technicians over the next year. These openings support transmission, engine, structures, avionics, and component shops. Technicians will perform teardown, overhaul, repair, assembly, inspection, painting, wiring, and testing of aircraft systems and components in accordance with FAA requirements, OEM technical data, and company quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for mechanically skilled aviation professionals seeking long-term growth in a world-class aerospace maintenance environment.


Key Responsibilities


  • Read and interpret technical data including maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, drawings, overhaul manuals, and service bulletins

  • Perform teardown, cleaning, inspection, repair, and overhaul of aircraft components including transmissions, engines, avionics systems, structures, and hardware

  • Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, torque wrenches) to evaluate component wear and serviceability

  • Replace, repair, or assemble parts using proper tools, fixtures, and approved procedures

  • Perform tests, functional checks, and measurements to confirm part or system serviceability

  • Remove and install aircraft structural parts, wiring, controls, and other system components

  • Perform flight-sensitive work including rigging, wiring, structural repairs, and component assembly

  • Properly prepare, mask, blast, and paint components in accordance with finishing requirements (for Finishes/Paint roles)

  • Accurately document all work performed in maintenance records to meet FAA, customer, and company standards

  • Maintain clean, organized, FOD-free work areas and practice proper tool control

  • Support Lean and continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, quality, and turnaround times

  • May support field, customer, or remote work locations as needed

  • Perform other duties as assigned based on shop or production needs


Qualifications


  • High School diploma or equivalent required

  • 3+ years of mechanical experience in aerospace, military, automotive, powertrain, component overhaul, or related mechanical field

  • Ability to read and follow OEM technical data, drawings, manuals, and schematics

  • Experience using precision measuring tools and standard mechanical hand tools

  • Previous experience in aircraft maintenance, component overhaul, or Part 145 repair station environments preferred

  • Experience with Boeing 107/CH46, Boeing 234/CH47, 107/234, or turbine engine systems preferred

  • Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license preferred (Airframe license is equivalent to 1 year experience; Powerplant license is equivalent to 1 year experience; A&P license is equivalent to 2 years' experience)

  • Avionics applicants: knowledge of wiring practices, crimping, routing, and electrical troubleshooting preferred

  • Finishes applicants: experience with epoxy primers, polyurethane paint, masking, prep, stripping, or media blasting preferred

  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, or rotating schedules based on production demand

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, team-oriented environment

  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work in a shop environment
