Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering/technical discipline and 8+ years aircraft certification experience.
• General knowledge of all phases of aircraft design, FAA certification, manufacturing, inspection and service.
• Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to plan and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Must be qualified, eligible, and acquire ODA Administrator authorized functions as defined in the ODA Procedures Manual.

Responsibilities

• Obtain U.S. and foreign type certification approvals.
• Monitor service problems, rulemaking, and FAA/FCAA approvals; communicate with authorities.
• Ensure COS reports are provided to the FAA and used for risk assessment and corrective actions.
• Advise personnel on FAA and FCAA procedures and maintaining ODA files.
• Interface with Records for data needed for litigation or interrogatories.
• Travel and overtime may be required when necessary.
