Job summary

Operations Council in Myrtle Beach, SC seeks a seasoned regulatory compliance professional to oversee all matters relating to aviation program compliance, safety standards, and operational certifications.

The role requires extensive experience with Part 125/135/121 operations, strong knowledge of FARs, FAA policies, and liaising with FAA and other agencies. You will manage manuals and coordinate with maintenance leadership to ensure airworthiness and fleet planning compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive Part 125/135/121 experience.
• Must meet the minimum qualifications required by 14 CFR Part 119.71(a).
• Must possess a thorough knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
• Must possess a working knowledge of FAA policy and guidance documents.
• Must possess a knowledge of additional requirements for DoD approved Air Carriers.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring that all company flight operations meet or exceed industry safety standards, are conducted in compliance with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, operations specifications, and company policies and procedures.
• General Operations Manual maintenance, responsible for manual development, revision, submission for acceptance/approval, and dissemination to required manual holders.
• Responsible for coordinating with the Director of Maintenance for all matters pertaining to aircraft airworthiness and fleet planning.
• Acts as primary liaison with FAA, NTSB, and other governmental agencies for matters pertaining to Air Carrier Certification projects and ongoing air carrier safety and compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.
