Job summary

The Structures Company is seeking an Aircraft Avionics Technician to join a contract role at Beale AFB. The ideal candidate will hold an Active Secret clearance and have 2–4 years of MOD experience, with fighter experience being a plus.

You will terminate, route, and build connectors and cannon plugs for avionics systems, and perform routine electrical maintenance and diagnostics. Responsibilities include installing and repairing electrical components, reading blueprints, and ensuring safety

Qualifications

• Active Secret Security Clearance required to start.
• US Person per ITAR rules.
• 2–4 years MOD experience is required.
• Fighters experience is a plus.
• Ability to terminate, route, and build connectors and cannon plugs.
• Ability to repair, construct, install, troubleshoot, and maintain routine electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Terminates, routes, and builds connectors and cannon plugs for aircraft avionics or electrical environmental systems.
• Repairs, constructs, installs, troubleshoots, and maintains routine electrical systems and equipment.
• Cuts, threads, bends, couples, and straps conduit for electrical installations.
• Installs, repairs, or replaces switch boxes, lights, plugs, sockets, light fuses, and extension cords.
• Disassembles motors, generators, and other equipment in preparation for repair.
• Troubleshoots electrical malfunctions and inspects circuits and wiring for shielding and grounding.
