The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber.**Responsibilities:*** Supervise installation, testing, and repair of avionics systems.* Oversee complex diagnostics and troubleshooting tasks.* Ensure all maintenance activities are documented and compliant with regulations.* Conduct advanced training sessions for avionics staff.* Develop and implement maintenance procedures.* Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient operations.* Maintain high standards of safety and work quality.**Qualifications You Must Have:*** High school diploma or equivalent.* 5+ years of relevant experience.* Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.* Expertise in avionics systems and regulatory compliance.* Ability to understand and interpret moderately complex, technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications; ability to route wires per technical drawings.* Advanced skills with moderately complex avionics installation tooling, wiring, wiring repair, wiring installation, soldering' and crimping techniques.* Ability to deploy for an extended amount of time to various CONUS and OCONUS operating locations.* Ability to meet current DoD and Combatant Command requirements for deployed locations.* Successfully pass a pre-deployment medical assessment.* Must be willing and able to work extended hours, holidays, and shift schedules as required.* Current/ valid passport and be able to obtain a visa to travel internationally.* Willing to TDY for extensive amounts of time.* Willing to deploy OCONUS on an approximate 60/60 rotation.* An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required**Qualifications We Prefer:*** Associate’s degree in Avionics, Electronics, or a related field.* Leadership experience in a maintenance environment.* Advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills.* Familiarity with FCC and FCC General Radio Operator License (GROL).* Ability to mentor and guide subordinates.* Basic understanding of spectrometer, Oscilloscope, and/or Pitot static equipment.* Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense, or US Military.**Essential Functions:*** Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.* Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the work shift.* Hand and finger dexterity to work with small mechanical components and tools.* Ability to work in a noisy environment with potential exposure to hazardous materials.* Ability to travel frequently to customer locations, sometimes on short notice.* Ability to work in a combination of office and field environments.* Ability to read detailed technical manuals, schematics, and computer screens.* Ability to inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems accurately.* Ability to hear and understand spoken communication in noisy environments, such as industrial sites or construction areas.* Ability to detect auditory signals from machinery or equipment, which may indicate issues.* Ability to navigate various work environments, including climbing ladders, crawling in confined spaces, and working at heights.* Ability to drive or operate a vehicle for frequent travel to customer locations.* High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks, including repairs, installations, and maintenance.* Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety protocols.* Strong awareness of safety protocols and ability to adhere to safety guidelines in potentially hazardous environments.* Ability to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards.This posting will be open for application for a minimum of 5 days and may be extended based on business needs.SNC offers a generous benefit package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, 401(k) with 150% match up to 6%, life insurance, 3 weeks paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more.**IMPORTANT NOTICE:**This position requires current/active Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
