Job summary

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-2 years related experience and/or training.
  • Six months vocational training.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble to meet quality requirements using blueprints, specs, and work orders.
  • Complete data gathering to facilitate assembly progress.
  • Set up and run shop equipment like squeezes and precision measuring tools.
  • Troubleshoot issues and look for process improvements.
  • Perform rework or changes during assembly process.
  • Assemble major components of sub-assemblies and major assemblies.
  • Move parts, materials, tools, and assemblies to needed locations.
  • Support team to maintain a continuous flow and meet schedule requirements.
  • Ensure product is conforming before presenting to quality.
