Job summary

PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Planner - FLRAA in Amarillo, TX. You will help develop assembly work instructions, determine tooling needs, and implement changes to existing and future products at the Amarillo Assembly Center.

Responsibilities include coordinating engineering changes, analyzing CAD/GD&T, reconciling BOMs, and supporting the factory floor to maintain timely, accurate production schedules. A relevant degree and 3–5 years of planning experience are preferred.

Qualifications

3–5 years of Production/ Manufacturing Planning experience are required.
Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline is highly preferred.
Experience with Bell systems and CAD/GD&T is essential.
MRB experience and knowledge of manufacturing processes are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Incorporate engineering changes using Bell systems and coordinate with Change Group and Manufacturing Customers.
Analyze tooling needs with Bell CAD systems and participate in design/evaluation for aircraft assemblies.
Provide timely floor support to ensure accurate changes to production orders.
Reconcile Engineering BOM with Manufacturing BOM to ensure proper consumption.
Collaborate with Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering for efficient build sequences.
Demonstrate understanding of assembly processes and tool index requirements.
Serve as a liaison to the factory floor and support redline activities and improvements.
