Lockheed Martin Corporation is seeking an experienced shop technician to manufacture, assemble and refurbish aircraft parts and structures on controlled tooling. You will align parts on jigs, drill close tolerance holes, and perform fitting and minor rework as required.

Work from blueprints and shop orders to ensure quality and timely delivery. The role requires 5+ years in aviation/manufacturing, strong tool use, and the ability to read specifications.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years hands-on aviation/manufacturing/assembly experience.
• Experience with reading blueprints and interpreting specifications/technical publications.
• Experience with basic hand tools (drills, torque wrench and inspections tools) and use of precision instruments.
• Experience with locating holes from blueprints by hand lay out, tooling and/or technology platforms.
• High School diploma or equivalent experience/combined education.

Aufgaben

• Manufacture, assemble and refurbish aircraft parts and structures.
• Align parts on jigs using templates/fixtures.
• Drill close tolerance holes and perform part-fitting operations.
• Perform fabrication tasks including filing, sawing, burring, crimping, riveting and countersinking.
• Measure parts to verify dimensions and modify assemblies as needed.
