Job summary

Segers Aero Corporation in Fairhope, AL is hiring an Accessory Mechanic to maintain aircraft and engine accessories per SOPs and Repair Station Manual. The role requires meticulous inspection, accurate parts handling, and proper use of measuring tools.

You will log results in company software, perform bench tests, and collaborate with the lead to ensure adherence to customer and engineering standards. A 9/80 schedule and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years mechanical experience incl. aircraft/engine components or aviation school.
• 3 years MRO maintenance experience preferred.
• A&P license or FAA Power Plant Rating preferred.
• Must pass background check and DOT-FAA drug screen; safety-sensitive position.

Responsibilities

• Observe and follow overhaul manuals and safety standards.
• Disassemble units using proper tools per OHM and procedures.
• Log inspections and parts data accurately in the system.
• Perform preliminary inspections and bench test as directed by Sales/Lead.
• Maintain clean, safe workspace and proper FOD controls.
• Travel as required and assist with process improvements.
