Job summary

Segers Aero Corporation located in Fairhope, AL is hiring an Accessory Mechanic to join our team. The position is full-time and pays $21.00 to $33.00 per hour, with a 9/80 work schedule and every other Friday off.

You will perform maintenance on customers' aircraft and engine accessories following SOPs and repair manuals, with responsibilities including inspection, disassembly, measurements, and final testing, while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Two years mechanical experience in aircraft/engines preferred
• A&P license or FAA Power Plant Rating preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work with safety PPE
• Experience with overhaul manuals and aviation standards preferred
• Must read/write/communicate in English

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on aircraft and engine accessories following manuals and SOPs
• Disassemble and inspect components per overhaul manual
• Bench test and calibrate units as required
• Log inspections and enter data in company software
• Ensure proper shipping, labeling, and documentation for final inspection
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant workspace
• Adhere to safety procedures and participate in training
