Job summary

Leidos seeks an Airborne Sensor Operator (ASO) to support a CONUS-based ISR program. Responsibilities include mission planning, sensor operation, and post-flight product distribution using E/O-IR FMV sensors. Candidates must have 700 flight hours or a bachelor’s degree with relevant experience, and an active TS/SCI clearance.

The role requires travel, long hours, and deployment to CONUS/OCONUS locations. FAA medical certification and strong CRM skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years’ experience or 700 flight hours as an aircrew member on ISR aircraft.
• Active Top Secret with SCI access.
• Current FAA Class II/III Medical Certificate.
• Passport valid 12 months and ability to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Execute all preflight, flight, and post-flight duties to safely operate sensor suites.
• Perform mission planning, briefings, system inspections, operation, troubleshooting, and debriefings.
• Distribute intelligence products and document missions; assist with sensor upgrades and maintenance.
