Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks Air Traffic Control Specialists (ATCS) at Kenai, AK to ensure safe and efficient movement of air traffic. Join a team that handles terminal tower, approach, and enroute responsibilities with FAA credential requirements and security clearances.

Responsibilities include radio communications, issuing clearances, weather dissemination, and coordination with responders and airport staff. Eligible for sign-on incentives, housing stipends, and relocation support.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required.
• FAA Second Class Medical Certificate required.
• CTO rating or credential with Tower Rating and 6 months of practical experience.
• Eligibility to work for Serco under Federal Immigration Laws.
• Pre-employment drug screen required.
• Potential FAA security clearance (interim and final).
• Proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Answer radio calls from arriving/departing aircraft.
• Issue landing and takeoff instructions.
• Disseminate weather and operational information to pilots and other facilities.
• Issue air traffic clearances and manage runway usage and traffic sequencing.
• Coordinate with airport vehicles and personnel.
• Maintain daily operation records and logs.
• Provide on-the-job training duties as required.
