Job summary

Serco is seeking an Air Traffic Controller in Walla Walla, WA. The ATCS team manages arrivals, departures, and en-route traffic with the goal of safe, orderly, and expeditious air movement within the U.S. airspace.

Responsibilities include issuing clearances, monitoring aircraft, communicating with pilots, and coordinating with airport personnel. Eligibility requires U.S. citizenship, FAA medical, and appropriate CTO/Tower credentials, plus security clearances as applicable.

Qualifications

• US citizenship and eligibility to work in the United States.
• FAA Second Class Medical Certificate required.
• CTO rating or a credential with a Tower Rating and 6 months of practical experience per 14 CFR Part 65.39.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control air traffic to ensure safe, orderly flow.
• Issue landing and takeoff instructions and related data.
• Coordinate with ground personnel and other ATC facilities.
• Maintain records of daily operations and provide weather observations when required.
• Prepare for pre-employment screening and security clearances.
