Job summary

SAIC is seeking an experienced Part-time Air Traffic Control Instructor to join the Controller Training Solutions team at Tucson Intl ATCT (TUS) in Tucson, AZ. The role focuses on delivering top-quality classroom and simulation-based training for FAA air traffic control staff and developmental controllers.

The successful candidate will bring FAA CPC experience, expertise with ATC simulators, and the ability to design and deliver effective curricula.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of FAA CPC experience controlling live traffic or recent FAA facility instructor experience.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Strong technical skills with ATC automation, simulation systems, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality classroom and/or simulation training to students, including CPCs and developmental controllers.
• Mentor students and RPOs; contribute to curriculum design and development.
• Ensure training aligns with FAA standards and facility needs; maintain certifications.
