Job summary

ACF, Inc. installs and maintains compressed air systems in the Tampa area. The Install Technician will install and modify piping and components, perform mechanical and electrical work, and read manuals and schematics to complete installations. Travel to sites and after-hours support are possible.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years of experience, a High School diploma or GED, and a clean driving record. Familiarity with major compressor brands is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent (GED).
• 5 to 7 years of related work experience or training or equivalent combination of both education and experience.
• Motor Vehicle Record must be in good standing and comply with Company policy.
• Experience on Ingersoll Rand, Atlas Copco, Quincy, Kaeser, Sullair, Gardner Denver, Kobelco, Boge, Kaishan compressors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install/modify compressed air piping and components on site.
• Perform mechanical, electrical installation and modifications of systems.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during and after hours as directed.
• Read manuals, schematics and work orders to perform installations.
• Use hand/power tools and meters; conduct basic math calculations.
• Maintain safety, clean work areas and drive to job sites; travel may be required.
