Job summary

ACF Industrial Energy in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Service Technician to perform shop and field repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting of air compressors and components. You will operate tools, read manuals, and provide emergency and preventive maintenance.

The role requires 5–7 years of related experience, the ability to work in non-climate controlled environments, and a valid MVR; overtime and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent (GED).
• 5 to 7 years of related work experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Motor Vehicle Record must be in good standing and comply with Company policy.
• Experience on Ingersoll Rand, Atlas Copco, Quincy, Kaeser, Sullair, Gardner Denver, Kobelco, Boge, Kaishan compressors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of compressed air systems and accessories.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during regular hours and after-hours, weekends, and holidays as directed.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance service and repairs of compressed air systems and accessories.
• Read and interpret manuals and schematics to perform maintenance and repairs.
• Use hand and power tools, meters, and handling equipment safely.
• Drive company vehicle to job sites; overnight travel may be required.
