Job summary

ACF, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician for the Air Compressor Division to troubleshoot and repair various compressor makes and models in the field and shop settings.

The role involves performing maintenance, following manuals and schematics, and providing emergency repairs as needed. Occasional overnight travel and shifts may be required, with strict adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School or GED is required.
• 5–7 years of related work experience or training.
• Motor Vehicle Record must be in good standing.
• Experience on popular compressors (Ingersoll Rand, Atlas Copco, Quincy, Kaeser, Sullair, Gardner Denver, Kobelco, Boge, Kaishan) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform shop and/or field repairs, maintenance and troubleshooting of air compressors and components.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during and outside regular hours.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on air systems and accessories.
• Read and interpret manuals, schematics and work orders for maintenance and repairs.
• Drive to job sites; overnight travel may be required; may work overnight shifts.
