Qualifications

• Working toward a B.S. or M.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Atmospheric Science, Chemistry, or a science degree with air quality coursework and a GPA of 3.4 or higher.
• Strong computing skills including high level use of spreadsheets and word processing.
• Strong written/verbal communication, problem-solving and organization skills.
• Ability to understand and interpret environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Preparing emissions calculations
• Conducting air quality reviews of emissions reduction or control
• Assisting in preparing major and minor source permit applications and environmental impact reports
• Critically reviewing and interpreting local, state, and federal environmental regulations

Education

B.S. or M.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Atmospheric Science, Chemistry, or related field
