Job summary

Ramboll is seeking an Air Quality Intern to join the Environment & Health division in Phoenix, AZ (also Los Angeles or Irvine) for Spring/Summer 2027. You will assist with emissions calculations, air quality reviews, and permit applications under supervision, gaining hands-on experience in regulatory science.

Ideal candidates are pursuing or holding a B.S. or higher in engineering or environmental science with a GPA of 3.4+ and strong computing, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to apply analytical skills to air quality topics and regulations.
• Strong written/verbal communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare emissions calculations.
• Conduct air quality reviews of emissions reductions or controls.
• Assist in preparing major and minor source permit applications and environmental impact reports.
• Critically review and interpret local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
