Job summary

Ramboll seeks an Air Quality Intern to join the Environment & Health division in Los Angeles, Irvine, or Phoenix for Spring/Summer 2027. You will work with the Air & Climate Service Line, supporting emissions calculations, air quality reviews, and permit applications while learning from experienced professionals. Ideal candidates are pursuing a B.S.

or M.S. in a relevant engineering or science field with a GPA of 3.4+ and strong computational and communication skills.

Qualifications

Pursuing a degree in a science or engineering field with air quality coursework and a GPA of 3.4 or higher.
Strong computing skills including high level use of spreadsheets and word processing.
Strong written/verbal communication, problem-solving and organization skills.
Ability to understand and interpret environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

Preparing emissions calculations.
Conducting air quality reviews of emissions reduction or control.
Assisting in preparing major and minor source permit applications and environmental impact reports.
Critically reviewing and interpreting local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
