Job summary

The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation, Division of Air Quality, is recruiting an Engineering Associate II supervisor in Anchorage/Soldotna/Wasilla/Fairbanks/Juneau. You will supervise permit writers and perform technical reviews to protect ambient air quality in the state.

Requirements include an ABET-accredited engineering degree with two years of engineering experience, or an ABET master’s with one year, plus an Engineer-In-Training (EIT) credential where applicable.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering bachelor’s degree required.
• Two years of engineering experience as Engineering Associate 1 with the State of Alaska or elsewhere.
• Or non-ABET bachelor’s degree with an Engineer-In-Training (EIT) or FE credential.
• ABET-accredited master’s degree with one year of Engineering Associate 1 experience.
