Job summary

Core Atlantic is seeking an experienced Air Quality Engineer / Project Manager in Texas. The role emphasizes technical ownership of air permitting and compliance on established industrial accounts, with a focus on midstream O&G and chemical sectors.

You will lead projects from start to finish, deliver emissions calculations, and collaborate with regulatory agencies. Hybrid Texas-based work offers strong career development without mandatory business development.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of Air Quality permitting and compliance experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Texas air regulations and TCEQ permitting requirements.
• Hands-on experience with PBRs, minor NSR permitting and emissions calculations.
• Ability to independently deliver permitting projects from start to finish.
• Good understanding of industrial processes, equipment and emissions.
• A degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own air quality permitting and compliance projects for established industrial clients.
• Prepare and manage Permit by Rule (PBR) and minor NSR permit applications.
• Perform emissions calculations and inventories, and develop compliance tools.
• Support regulatory reporting and ongoing air compliance requirements.
• Mentor junior professionals and provide technical guidance.
