Job summary
Pima County Environmental Quality seeks an Environmental Analyst to support ambient air quality monitoring and compliance with federal regulations. The role involves data analysis, data collection system design, and overseeing field instrumentation calibration and maintenance.
The candidate will review local, state, and federal regulations, prepare reports, and help develop environmental quality control strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an environmental field and one year of related technical experience.
- Or one year with Pima County in an Environmental Health Specialist I or related position.
Responsibilities
- Collects and analyzes environmental data for compliance and research.
- Maintains, repairs, installs, calibrates, and QC field environmental instrumentation.
- Reviews laws and assists management with comments on regulations.
- Designs data collection systems and QC methods using databases and research techniques.
- Prepares reports and interprets data for environmental quality control strategies.
