Job summary

TXU Energy in Irving, TX seeks an experienced Air Permitting Senior Coordinator to lead permitting strategy, manage project delivery, and ensure regulatory compliance for electric power generation facilities.

You will oversee permit applications, consultant scopes, budgets, and cross-functional coordination with plant, legal, and environmental teams, delivering timely, accurate results in a cost-effective manner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of air permitting experience.
• 7+ years of experience in air permitting and regulatory compliance.
• Experience leading air permitting projects and coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Ability to read and interpret complex environmental regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee air permit applications and regulatory filings.
• Manage permits tracking, renewal, and interpretation for ongoing plant operations.
• Develop and direct air permitting strategies; evaluate pathways and risks.
• Oversee consultants, budgets, schedules, and performance expectations.
• Prepare quarterly status reports and communicate with leadership.
• Track environmental regulations and advise on impacts.
• Ensure personnel understand permit requirements and compliance obligations.
• Coordinate with plant, environmental, legal, engineering and leadership teams.
