Job summary

Sky2C Freight Systems, Inc. is seeking a Freight Forwarder operations specialist to manage export shipments by air and ocean, including documentation, scheduling and customer communications.

The candidate should have at least three years in International Freight Forwarding and familiarity with TSA regulations, tariffs, and customs requirements. This full-time on-site role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to coordinate with customers and third-party

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years international freight forwarding experience.
• Strong knowledge of air freight export TSA regulations and customs rules.
• Excellent organization with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with vendors and customers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate export shipments by air and/or ocean and manage documentation.
• Schedule pickups and communicate with customers and third-party service providers.
• Maintain compliance with tariffs, duties and TSA regulations.
• Liaise with freight forwarders and regulatory agencies to ensure on-time delivery.
• Provide accurate status updates and resolve issues under pressure.

Job description

We are well established Freight Forwarder in the San Francisco East Bay. We are currently hiring Freight Forwarder operations person. The candidate must be able to manage and coordinate the exportation of goods by air and/or ocean, including all necessary documentation, scheduling, and communication with customers and third-party service providers. Candidate must have at least 3 years International Freight Forwarding experience. Knowledge of air freight export TSA regulations. This role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication skills to manage relationships with customers.

• Strong knowledge of customs regulations, including tariffs, duties, and documentation requirements.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills for working with vendors, freight forwarders, and regulatory agencies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and experience with logistics software.
• Problem-solving skills with attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
