Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Erlanger, Kentucky, is hiring an Area Manager for Amazon Global Air. You will lead a team of hourly employees, drive safety, quality, attendance, and on-time deliveries across our air cargo operations.

This role requires unescorted access to SIDA, ability to pass security checks, and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. You will collaborate with Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and HR to meet business objectives and help improve processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your team.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for shifts up to 12 hours.
• Ensure safety programs and FAA/DHS/TSA compliance for Amazon AIR personnel.
