Job summary

The Colonial Group is seeking an Air & Ocean Specialist, Intermediate to coordinate documentation and clearance activities for import shipments in the United States. You will work with forwarders, prepare entry summaries, and monitor shipments to ensure compliance with regulations.

You will provide customer service, assist with billing, and help develop department processes while supporting a team leader and operating in a hybrid office environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of relevant work experience.
• Intermediate MS Office experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of customer service to clients.

The Role

This position is responsible for coordinate the handling of documentation and advances for clearance, delivery of freight after clearance, and monitoring and control all entry/entry summary preparation to ensure shipments are entered in accordance with the US Federal Code of Regulations.
