Job summary

AV is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Engineer to support air and missile defense analysis for MDA’s Architecture Validation/International team. You will execute system-level modeling using EADSIM/MDASIM and coordinate with international partners.

The role requires 3+ years of modeling experience, a STEM BS, and an active Secret clearance. Travel may be international; you will produce analytical reports and present findings at technical exchange meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a STEM field (CS, systems, math, EE, ME) or related field.
• At least 3 years of modeling tool experience supporting defense analysis or trade studies.
• Active Secret clearance.
• Engineering skills including mission-level modeling, database development, data analytics, programming, and technical writing.
• Ability to plan model-based studies for MDA objectives in each region.
• Ability to execute studies and develop analytical reports with limited guidance.
• Willingness to travel, including international locations.

Responsibilities

• Execute system-level air and missile defense modeling using EADSIM/MDASIM.
• Participate in international architecture studies and forums with partners.
• Coordinate with MDA officers to fulfill data requests and coordinate SMEs.
• Present findings at joint forums with MDA and international partners.
• Develop study objectives, design experiments, and streamline data collection/visualization.
• Analyze results and produce technical reports and briefings with recommendations.
