Job summary

Air Methods is seeking exceptional pilots to join our team in Holyoke, Colorado. The role requires extensive flight hours, PIC experience, rotor-wing turbine time, and night cross-country capability.

You will operate in a safety‑driven culture focused on providing 24/7 EMS transport with strong teamwork and professional standards. Compensation includes a salary range of $82,900–$93,251 per year, a $15,000 sign-on bonus, up to $12,000 experience stipend, a $25,000 stipend, and off‑duty housing

Qualifications

• 2000 total flight hours with a minimum of 1500 flight hours in category.
• 1000 hours PIC in category.
• 500 hours rotor wing turbine.
• 200 hours cross-country flight time, at least 50 hours at night.
• 100 hours unaided night as PIC (50 hours of unaided time can be substituted by 100 hours of NVG time).
• 50 hours total actual or hood instrument time in flight and in category.

Responsibilities

• Operates Air Methods aircraft in a safe and legal manner.
• Completes pre-flight before every flight verifying airworthiness and sign off of Daily Flight Log.
• Final authority with regard to operations of aircraft and for safety of passengers, cargo and equipment.
• Familiar with aircraft and medical systems of backup aircraft; ensure medical flight team is comfortable with systems.
• Completion of required documentation.
• Conduct detailed flight planning with little notice to exacting standards.
• Participates in meetings, projects, committees and outreach.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
